Booking and Cancellation Policies

  • By booking a stay at The Hideout, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

    ***To confirm your reservation with us, we require a 100% deposit at the time of booking***

  • In the event of a cancellation:

  1. Within 48 hours of booking (and concurrently, if 14 days remain before check-in), get a Full Refund 

  2. Full Refund at least 30 days before check-in

  3. Partial Refund (50% minus $25 administration fee) 7-30 days before check-in

  4. Within 7 days of check-in, your reservation is Non-Refundable

    *Refunds for Instant Bookings will incur an additional credit card processing fee

  5. Instant Bookings: Credit Card Payments processed via Stripe

  6. Direct Bookings: We accept e-transfers from Canadian accounts

  7. All deposits and additional fees are subject to 15% HST

  8. Instant Bookings are confirmed at time of booking. Direct Bookings are confirmed by email only, unless otherwise requested. Upon request and pending demand, we will strive to hold all direct booking inquiries for a maximum of three days

  9. We require a 2 night minimum stay

  10. Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am

  11. We have a No Pets policy

  12. In consideration of other guests, we maintain Quiet Hours between 11:00pm and 8:00am

  13. We have a No Smoking Policy anywhere on the property. A cleaning fee of $500 will be charged to any guest who smokes inside the cottage/suite.

  14. If you damage the rental suite, you will be held responsible for all repairs/replacement costs

  15. Due to the secluded, retreat-style vibe of The Hideout and in consideration of other guests, no additional overnight guests, parties or family events are permitted. For intimate gatherings, limited in size, please seek permission in advance
